Senate Republican Committee on Committees
Last week, I was happy to share that I had been selected by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to assist on the Senate Republicans’ Committee on Committees, the panel responsible for committee assignments for the 116th Congress. I am excited to take on this role, as I did in the previous two Congresses, and looking forward to working alongside Chairman Mike Crapo (R-ID). You can read my full statement here.
George H.W. Bush
I joined Americans across the country, and people around the world, this weekend as I heard the news that former President George H.W. Bush had passed away. Our 41st president will go down in history as a committed public servant and a true statesman. My prayers continue to be with the entire Bush family. May the peace that passes all understanding guard their hearts and may His comfort cover our nation as we mourn President George H.W. Bush.
