Senator Scott to Co-Host 2019 HBCU Fly-In Today

Washington, D.C. – Today, February 6, 2019, Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) will join House Republican Conference Vice Chairman Mark Walker in hosting the 2019 HBCU Fly-In in Washington, D.C. Senator Scott and Vice Chairman Walker have invited the Presidents and Chancellors of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to participate in the afternoon conference on Capitol Hill. The conference will begin at 12 PM.

Media is welcome. There will be a media avail at the HBCU Caucus Launch at 8:45 AM. The African-American Senator’s panel (2:45 – 3:30 PM) will be open to the press, with media availability directly afterwards in the Kennedy Caucus Room.
