WASHINGTON This morning, U.S. Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) will join Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD), in conjunction with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, in a program honoring the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
The program will include readings and remarks from members of Congress, as well as members of the military and representatives from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. The program aims to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day through the lens of Holocaust history, as well as honor the contribution and sacrifice of the United States military.
Representatives from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, including a Holocaust survivor who was liberated by US forces will also be in attendance.
