Around the State
Last week I had the pleasure of joining folks at various events across the state. In Greenville, I joined hundreds of community and business leaders at the South Carolina Opportunity Zone Summit. It was fantastic to see so many South Carolinians interested and invested in Opportunity Zones, an initiative so close to my heart. I look forward to seeing the developments that will come out of this summit across the state.

In Aiken, I was also able to join community leaders to chat about Opportunity Zones and their potential in the region. I appreciate how many citizens in the area are coming together to decide the future of this initiative in their community!

I also had the pleasure of speaking at the first Judie Aronson Memorial Lectureship at Congregation Beth Yam on Hilton Head Island. While my lecture focused on civility in public discourse, I touched on many issues near to my heart and enjoyed a fantastic conversation with Rabbi Brad Bloom and members of the community.
