Washington – As part of Black History Month, U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) welcomed a bipartisan panel of speakers to discuss black wealth, education and community. Joining the Senator were radio personality Charlamagne tha God, Heritage Foundation President Kay Coles James, Reform Alliance CEO Van Jones, Political Commentator Rob Smith, Pine Street Strategies CEO Don Calloway and Federal Housing Finance Agency Press Secretary and Senior Communications Advisor Raffi Williams.

The afternoon discussion featured serious discussions regarding financial literacy, building community and how to fix failing schools, as well as more light-hearted moments such as Judy Blume books.
