Anti-Lynching Bill Becomes Law
After years of hard work on anti-lynching legislation, my Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Act was finally signed into law this week. This law sends a clear message that we should never tolerate violence against our fellow Americans.
Our nation has come so far, and we must continue working to stop the spread of hatred wherever it is found. Click below to watch my interview on a special segment of ABC Nightline highlighting Emmett Till’s story.

Addressing Housing Challenges for Seniors
More than half of today’s public housing residents are seniors or people with disabilities, yet accessible units remain far too limited. As ranking member of the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging, I held a hearing this week along with Chairman Bob Casey (D-Pa.) to address the challenges seniors face in securing affordable and safe housing. Click below for my opening remarks at the hearing.

I also released a report titled “Housing for the Golden Years” that examines current trends and gaps in senior housing.
Having a place to call home is part of the American Dream. As our senior population increases, we must increase safe and affordable housing options for those living out their golden years.
A Conversation with Megyn Kelly
The Biden administration continues to misstep in so many areas — foreign policy, the economy, crime, and education, to name a few. This week, I joined the Megyn Kelly show to call out the administration’s blunders and highlight the Republican vision for how we can get back on track. Click below for the full interview!
