He is Risen!
I’ve overcome my fair share of obstacles in life–my parents’ divorce, poverty, and a car accident that destroyed my football dreams. But every Easter is a powerful reminder that Jesus Christ overcame the greatest obstacle–death. I was blessed to celebrate Easter Sunday with my mother and fiancé. And I thank God for placing people in my life who model what it means lead a life of deep faith in the Lord.
Standing Against President Biden’s Disastrous Iran Policy
It is a well-known fact that Iran is the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism and an active threat to U.S. troops operating in the Middle East. Despite this, the Biden administration continues to waive sanctions against the Iranian regime, granting access to billions in foreign currency that can be used to offset the cost of funding its terrorist proxy network.
In March, the administration issued yet another Iran sanctions waiver, potentially worth billions of dollars.
This decision does nothing to restore deterrence in the region, as Iranian-backed aggression remains at all-time high. That’s why I’m leading an effort to push back the Biden administration. In a letter signed by 13 senators, I expressed concern that the latest waiver makes sanctioned funds more accessible to the regime.
This letter follows numerous steps I have taken to hold Iran accountable for its malign behavior, including the introduction of my bills, the Revoke Iranian Funding Act and the Solidify Iran Sanctions Act. These bills work to restrict Iran’s ability to perpetuate terror around the world and exert maximum economic pressure on this terrorist state.

Fighting for Affordable and Reliable Energy
Under President Biden, Americans are feeling the pain at the pump. The Biden administration’s far-left, anti-energy agenda has helped drive the price of oil up 46%, gas prices up 37%, and overall energy costs up 34%. Between persistent inflation and increasing energy prices, families are struggling to make ends meet, save a little extra money, and achieve their American Dream.
That’s why I am urging the Biden administration to stop undermining American energy independence and the ability to provide reliable and affordable energy for the American people.
I called on the Federal Trade Commission to avoid weaponizing a far-left political agenda against domestic energy production, instead conducting an unbiased review of several recently announced critical U.S. energy development projects. I also joined a letter to U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen expressing serious concern over the $110 billion in proposed tax increases on the production of oil, gas, and coal in the Biden administration’s new budget proposal. We cannot allow the Biden administration’s anti-energy agenda to politicize energy production at the expense of hardworking Americans and our national security. |
