Dear Friend,

Welcome back to my Week in Review newsletter. Please remember to follow me on Facebook, XInstagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube for regular updates on how I am serving the people of South Carolina!

In our first 100 days, Senate Republicans and President Trump have hit the ground running by delivering meaningful, measurable results for the American people. At a time when Americans are demanding serious solutions, we have prioritized what matters most: securing our borders, lowering costs, and restoring strength and stability at home and abroad.

The first 100 days have been marked by accomplishment after accomplishment. While there is still much more to do, one thing is clear: Senate Republicans and President Trump are leading with purpose, focused on results, and committed to delivering a stronger, safer, and more prosperous future for our country.

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

1 Corinthians 15:58

Week in Review

Empowering Students and Lifting Communities Nationwide

This week, President Trump signed an executive order promoting excellence and innovation at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The executive order builds on the actions taken during President Trump’s first term to prioritize meaningful support for HBCUs—securing historic funding levels, reducing bureaucratic barriers, and strengthening partnerships between federal agencies and these institutions.

As a leading advocate for policies that strengthen and support HBCUs, I understand the vital role these institutions play in empowering students and uplifting communities nationwide. President Trump and I are working hard to allow HBCUs to continue shaping the leaders of tomorrow and making transformative, lasting contributions to society.
