Leading Healthcare Roundtable with RFK Jr.
I had the pleasure of leading a healthcare roundtable in Charleston, South Carolina with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Health and Human Services. As we work to modernize and strengthen the nation’s healthcare system, the roundtable centered on addressing critical challenges facing the American healthcare system, most notably sickle cell gene therapies in Medicaid. Thank you, Jenelle Stephenson, for sharing your story.

As I referenced recent natural disasters, I highlighted local mitigation policy failures and market distortions created by counterproductive regulations, and pushed my legislation to help flood-prone communities end the costly cycle of repeated flooding and rebuilding.
