Neil Gorsuch is a tremendous Supreme Court pick

In Judge Gorsuch, President Trump found an individual who embodies the characteristics most Hoosiers are looking for on our nation’s highest court. I’m proud to say that I will be voting to confirm him on the floor of the U.S. Senate. Click on the image below to read my full comments on Judge Gorsuch from a column I penned for the Indy Star:

Protecting child athletes from abuse

Parents trust coaches and Olympic officials to safeguard their children. USA Gymnastics repeatedly betrayed that trust. Congress should pass strong and meaningful reforms to ensure we put an end to this culture of abuse.

Unified Front Against the World's Largest State Sponsor of Terrorism

Iran—the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism—continues to develop ballistic missiles that represent a serious threat to our deployed troops, our allies, and eventually our homeland, and it’s time for the United States to impose serious consequences for their actions.

Hoosier Huddle

Thanks again to everyone who was able to join us for this week's #HoosierHuddle - including the Murphy family from Carmel and the Murphy family from Valparaiso (same great name, but no relation that we know of)!

One more thing before you go…

I had the chance to visit with midshipmen from my alma mater – the United States Naval Academy. This group of students is just one part of our nation’s rising group of future leaders who are trained at our prestigious military academies. It was great to reminisce with them about their time at the Naval Academy as well as my own.

Thank you for the continued privilege to serve you in the U.S. Senate. My mission is to fight on behalf of Hoosiers and the interests that are unique to our state. I look forward to working with you, and sharing our progress, in the days ahead. Until then…

In Service,

Todd
