July 8 - July 12, 2019

This week, Senator Romney welcomed several Utahns to the office to discuss some of his larger priorities: health care, the economy, and climate change. In addition to those meetings, the Senator participated in a Foreign Relations Committee hearing regarding arms exports, and met with the Mexican Ambassador to the United States regarding the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

USMCA is a marked improvement on NAFTA and its ratification would be a good thing for American workers and farmers. As a net-export state, Utah’s agricultural industry would greatly benefit from USMCA. Senator Romney met with Mexican Ambassador to the United States Martha Barcena this week to discuss the trade agreement.
