At a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing, Senator Romney stressed the importance of maintaining integrity within the e-rulemaking commenting systems. This issue is of immense importance because when the Bureau of Land Management, for example, puts out a proposed rule for comments, it's imperative that the individuals for whom the rule will most affect are the ones who get the say—not an army of bots deploying reams of fake comments.
