Grassley Direct

Today, I spoke with Cindy Kohlmann, host of "Voices of the Tri-States" on KDTH radio in Dubuque.  We covered a variety of topics including: the State of the Union address, the Operation Fast & Furious investigation, a letter the Iowa delegation sent to the EPA about the Renewable Fuel Standard, wasteful spending in Afghanistan, and a hearing I'm holding next week in the Judiciary Committee on mental health.  Listen here.

Spring Break Reception Planned for Visiting Families

Many Iowa schools will have spring break during the week of March 14 through March 18 this year, and a number of students and families will travel to Washington, D.C.  During that week, my colleague Senator Joni Ernst and I will hold an open door reception for interested Iowans.  On Tuesday, March 15, from 2-3 p.m. Eastern Time, Iowans are welcome to stop by the Judiciary Committee hearing room, Room 226 in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, for a visit with us and other Iowans.  For those planning a trip to our nation’s capital, I also encourage you to take advantage of the resources that my office offers.  My staff is very good at giving tours of the U.S. Capitol.  They can also help with the logistics of visiting other popular sites.  Visit my website for information or help with tours or call my office at 202/224-3744 with any questions.
