Dear
Friend,
As
Coloradans
gather
to
celebrate
Thanksgiving,
we’re
reminded
that
we
have
much
to
be
grateful
for.
We
live
in
the
greatest
state
in
the
freest,
most
prosperous
country
that
has
ever
existed.
We
are
a
nation
founded
upon
the
first principles of
opportunity,
liberty,
and
freedom;
a
nation
built
upon
the
chance
to
succeed.
Still,
these
are
hard
times
for
many.
An
uneven
economic
recovery
has
left
too
many
unemployed
or
underemployed,
struggling
to
pay
bills
and
save
for
the
future.
I’m
grateful
for
the
millions
of
Americans
who
devote
their
time
and
energy
to
helping
the
less
fortunate
and
lifting
up
their
fellow
citizens
in
a
time
of
need.
As
we
in
this
country
sit
down
to
dinner
with
loved
ones,
it’s
also
important
to
remember
the
men
and
women
of
the
United
States
military.
Many
of
them
are
spending
this
holiday
far
from
home,
without
the
company
of
friends
and
relatives.
The
Americans
who
serve
in
our
armed
forces
sacrifice
so
much
for
our
country,
all
to
ensure
that
we
are
kept
safe
and
free.
To
all
who
serve,
and
have
served
our
nation,
we
give
our
eternal
thanks.
Happy
Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
Cory
Gardner
United
States
Senator
