Dear
Friend,
I
wanted
to
let
you
know
that
I
am
hosting
a
discussion focused
on
national
security
issues
in Florence,
CO at Florence
City
Hall on Monday,
March
28th at noon.
With
national
security
issues
at
the
forefront
of
today’s
challenges,
I
want
to
hold
a
discussion
about
the
rise
of
ISIS,
the
potential
closure
of
Guantanamo
Bay,
and
increasingly
belligerent
regimes
such
as
North
Korea
and
Iran.
Recently,
President
Obama
announced
his
plan
to
transfer
Guantanamo
Bay
terrorist
detainees
to
the
United
States,
and
as
you
may
know,
Florence
is
one
of
the
possible
relocation
sites.
Next
Monday,
Coloradans
will
have
an
opportunity
to
voice
their
concerns
about
the
President’s
proposal,
as
well
as
discuss
other
issues
impacting
our
national
security.
I
hope
you
can
join
me
on Monday,
March
28th at
Florence
City
Hall,
located
at 600
W.
3rd
St,
Florence,
CO
81226.
If
you
plan
to
join
us please
RSVP to
jonathan_finer@gardner.senate.gov.
Sincerely,
Cory
Gardner
United
States
Senator
