Dear Friend –
Did Dr. Fauci tell the truth?
Let me know what you think:
Fauci’s Scientific Method: Posing for Pictures, a Presidential Pardon, and the Pandemic Cover-up
I may not be a scientist, but I did learn in elementary school that the scientific method starts by asking a question. Yet, government scientists and the media called those who dared to question the origins of COVID-19 “conspiracy theorists” and “racists.” The Biden administration even pressured Facebook to remove and censor pandemic-related content the government did not like, such as posts pointing to a possible lab origin for the COVID virus.
The real conspiracy was orchestrated by Dr. Anthony Fauci’s associates who destroyed records and covered up the truth to mislead the world into believing the pandemic had a natural origin. In January 2020, months before the world would be shut down, Fauci was alerted by a virologist that the “unusual features of the virus … look engineered.” Nevertheless, Dr. Fauci privately supported efforts to “get ahead of the science and narrative of" the origins of COVID-19, while encouraging his colleagues to delete his emails on the subject. Despite his many contradictions during the pandemic, from the origins of the virus to keeping schools closed or even the right amount of space for social distancing, Dr. Fauci famously claimed that those who dared to criticize him are “really criticizing science because I represent science. That’s dangerous.”
Dr. Fauci tried to mask the role the batty research he was funding with taxpayer dollars may have played in the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Unconvinced and undeterred, many of us followed the facts … and the dollars… and uncovered the truth. More than $1 million of U.S. taxpayer money were sent to the Wuhan Institute of Virology by Dr. Fauci and his friends at the EcoHealth Alliance to support risky research on coronaviruses. (Some of that money originated from USAID, which has since been dissolved by the Trump administration.)

Follow the Money: Dr. Fauci and friends steered over $1 million of U.S. tax dollars to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for risky research on bat coronaviruses.
Numerous laws and regulations were violated to hide the fact that coronaviruses were being enhanced to dangerous levels and taxpayer dollars were financing the experiments. The FBI, Department of Energy, and, eventually, the CIA came around, concluding the pandemic likely originated in the lab. I was among the first to question Fauci’s narrative and call for investigations into the funding and cover-up and then led the successful efforts to defund both EcoHealth and the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Before Dr. Fauci could be held accountable, then-president Biden’s autopen signed a “full and unconditional pardon” for Dr. Fauci “for any offenses against the United States which he may have committed or taken part in” dating back to 2014. That was the year when taxpayer-funded gain-of-function research, in which pathogens are modified in a lab to be more contagious or lethal, was paused. It was also the year Dr. Fauci began funneling tax dollars through EcoHealth Alliance to the Wuhan Institute of Virology to conduct NIH-funded risky research on bat coronaviruses.
Fauci may have been given clemency for whatever crimes he committed, but that doesn’t mean he’s off the hook. Science is built on questions, and the world still deserves answers. The traditional scientific method involves asking a question, forming a hypothesis, then conducting experiments to find an answer to your question. That is how you follow the science, folks. Fauci’s method is to deceive the public, discredit those who ask questions, destroy evidence, hide the truth, become a celebrity, pose for magazine photographers, and accept a pardon to avoid accountability. His real legacy may be playing a contributing part in the creation of the pandemic that made him famous and fabricating the science he claimed to represent.
Fauci’s Scientific Method: Posing for pictures and accepting a presidential pardon while refusing to answer questions about the risky research he funded with taxpayer dollars.
In May 2021, Dr. Fauci wrote in his dairy, “as soon as people recognized me there was a wave of applause and squealing and screaming and clapping and thanking me with multiple people coming and asking for selfies.” He added, “it was a little bit embarrassing, but it was just a manifestation of how people need a symbol of integrity and truth.”
Fauci was absolutely correct that people needed the truth during the pandemic, but they didn’t get it from him.
That’s why the squeals he will hear today are going to be his own because I am giving my July 2026 Squeal Award to Dr. Anthony Fauci.
This week I’ll be joining Senator Rand Paul and my other colleagues on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee to question Dr. Fauci about his role in the COVID-19 pandemic and covering up the truth and maybe we will finally get some answers.
Squeal Award: Dr. Anthony Fauci
