On the Road

Visiting the Boys & Girls Club of Martinsburg

Last week I dropped by the Boys & Girls Club in Martinsburg for a tour. Our Boys & Girls Clubs across West Virginia serve an important role in our communities!

Goodwill Industries of the Kanawha Valley

Last week I stopped for a tour of Goodwill of the Kanawha Valley to see the amazing work they're doing through the "Grow with Google" initiative, which provides participants in the community with digital skills to help them succeed in today's economy.

Yeager Airport Groundbreaking

It was an exciting morning at Yeager Airport during last week's groundbreaking for the Runway 5 Safety Zone.

How May We Help You?

I truly appreciate the opportunity to hear from my fellow West Virginians. As your U.S. Senator, I am proud to be your voice with government agencies during your time of need. My goal is to provide top-notch customer service for every West Virginian who contacts me, or who may need help.  I have a team of caseworkers in each of my four offices to help you with matters of concern. While I have no direct jurisdiction in the administrative matters of any federal, state, or local agency, I welcome the opportunity to assist you with whatever problem you may be experiencing and ask that full consideration be given to your case.

Recently, Kim Berry in my Fairmont office was able to assist Retired Air Force MSGT Larry Stemple of Parsons.  MSGT Stemple contacted my office for assistance in locating a photo of the grave marker for WWII Army Private First Class Carl Loughry who was killed in action and buried at the Brittany American Cemetery in Saint James, France.  Within one week, the American Battle Monuments Commission presented my office with the photo so that MST Stemple could share it with his family in West Virginia.  It is my honor to assist MSGT Stemple, and the  brave men and women who honorably served our nation.  Today, as well as every day, is a time to thank them and honor them for their unrelenting commitment to freedom.
