I was honored to send a welcome message for the Opportunity Appalachia Summit in Bridgeport this week. Opportunity Appalachia works to provide guidance and technical assistance to a number of communities across the state to leverage their Opportunity Zone designations to secure investment and create jobs.

Recently, Forbes Magazine, in partnership with the Sorenson Impact Center, recognized the Opportunity Appalachia initiative as one of the top 20 catalyst programs in the country.

To request assistance from my case team, click here.

As your U.S. Senator, I am proud to be your voice with government agencies during your time of need. My goal is for me and my staff to provide the best possible customer service for every West Virginian who contacts me needing assistance. While I have no direct jurisdiction in legal or administrative matters of any federal, state, or local agency, I welcome the opportunity to assist you in any way possible and to assure that full consideration is given to your case. See one of our recent success stories below:

Mr. Norman Fox from Danese contacted the Senator's office for assistance.  Mr. Fox has multiple sclerosis, and required assistance with obtaining his Social Security Disability benefits.  As a result of the Caseworker Sylvia Asbury's inquiries, Mr. Fox was notified of his approval by Social Security.
