ON THE ROAD

Members of my staff once again participated in National Read Across America Week celebrating the works of Dr. Seuss in various schools across the state. This is an outstanding opportunity to showcase the importance of reading, learning, and creative thinking to our West Virginia students.

HOW MAY WE HELP YOU?

To request assistance from my case team, click here.

As your U.S. Senator, I am proud to be your voice with government agencies during your time of need. My goal is for me and my staff to provide the best possible customer service for every West Virginian who contacts me needing assistance. While I have no direct jurisdiction in legal or administrative matters of any federal, state, or local agency, I welcome the opportunity to assist you in any way possible and to assure that full consideration is given to your case. See one of our recent success stories below:

Mr. Dean Backus of Beckley contacted Senator Manchin for help scheduling a more timely appointment at the Beckley VAMC. Mr. Backus had attempted to make an appointment with his primary care physician and was given a date more than 30 days out. As a result of Caseworker Angie Walsh's inquiry, Mr. Backus was scheduled for an appointment within two weeks.
