SENATE PASSES MANCHIN'S POSTAL SERVICE REFORM LEGISLATION

"West Virginians in rural communities depend on the Postal Service to deliver medicines and bills, support their small businesses and stay connected with friends and family. I look forward to President Biden signing this legislation into law and will work to implement these changes in West Virginia and America to bring USPS into the 21st Century."

READ THE PRESS RELEASE

WEST VIRGINIA WILL RECEIVE $247.6 MILLION TO EXPAND BROADBAND ACCESS TO 79,391 LOCATIONS

West Virginia will receive a historic investment in broadband from the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF). Frontier Communications will receive $247.6 million over the next 10 years to expand broadband to nearly 80,000 locations across #WV. While I am pleased WV will receive $247.6 million to expand broadband, there is still work to be done to ensure that providers who receive federal funding make good on their promises. I applaud the FCC for listening to my concerns and establishing the Rural Broadband Accountability Plan.
