Form Energy announced construction of its first high-volume, iron-air battery manufacturing facility in Weirton. This $760 million investment, which is a direct result of the Inflation Reduction Act, will carry on Weirton's proud steelmaking legacy. When West Virginia competes, West Virginia wins, and I’m proud to have helped Form Energy, an American company building iron-air batteries to enable a more sustainable & reliable electric grid, bring this historic investment to West Virginia.

I was proud to speak at USDA Rural Development's Rural Partners Federal Resource Forum in Charleston to discuss the importance of collaboration from the federal to local levels to identify opportunities to expand rural prosperity through job creation, infrastructure development and community improvement.

Devannd, a student at WV Wesleyan College, contacted my office when he was not allow to board an international flight. After an inquiry from my office, Devannd obtained his visa and was able to meet his class in Ireland.
